This is for all my Asian mamas:
I was surfing around the Oakley site today, and found out that they have a line of sunglasses with an Asian Fit. They were made for the girls whose “sunglasses tend to sit too low on your face or slide down your nose, touch at your temples or cheeks, or feel narrow at the sides of your head.”

I posted about the Madras Collection from APC earlier. Here are more colorful madras options. Hopefully not worn all together:

1. Jessica Simpson Jada Pump
2. Isaac Mizrahi for Target Sundress - tried this dress on and it’s so pretty! Although I had about a foot of fabric that I’d have liked to hem off
4. Xhilaration Sable Ballerina Flats

These modern-looking pieces from Alexis Bittar would look so perfect with a white summer dress:

Chicadecanela was kind enough to link to me last month, and I’m glad they did, otherwise I wouldn’t have found out about all the cute handcrafted goodies sold on the site. Just darling!

I have yet to visit this Studio City lingerie boutique - they were one of my first must-visit finds on Your LA - but I found out they have an online shop AND a blog, which they were nice enough to link me on. What a coincidence!
They currently have lots of pretty underthings on sale on their site. I like these newspaper print pieces from John Galliano:

Escapulario’s Brazilian-inspired baubles are strung with matryoshkas, pigs, skulls, and Virgin Marys - quite the variety! Portions of each product also benefit charities, from what I understand.

I love these - Locher’s sweet and simple blouses detailed with dainty floral embroidery on the sleeve or hem, that up close, have unexpected and saucy little sayings like “I Love Porn” and “No Time To Fuck”. Oh my! Her darling and delicate pendants are just as sassy. [Via fabulous new read Clothes-Pin]

Check out these unique and imaginative creations coming from the hands of French jewelry designer Delphine-Charlotte Parmentier. Who would think to make baby booties and cartoon bows into such wearable and sophisticated accessories?

These modern gypsy pieces from Binetti’s spring 2007 collection are so much fun without being frivolous. I also love labels that offer a range of products - from clothes to bags and jewelry - that you can create a whole outfit from without being too matchy-matchy or looking like a label whore.

Got this pretty thing in the mail over the weekend. I love the vintage lucite flowers on this bracelet from Ruby Slipper.

I’m loving the jewelry from Malababa, like this Carrascal Necklace from shopbop. Such a unique and fun assortment of baubles.

I spotted one of bag designer Amina Aranaz’s creations in the March 2007 Preview. (Freshly imported from the Philippines, thanks Mom) I love her modern and creative use of native materials to get that distinct Filipino island opulence.

I’ve been hearing good things about her shoes, so I decided to check out her site for more info. Her current offerings include simple but feminine tops and dresses, with origami-like prints and sailor-inspired details that remind me of anime cartoons, in an oh-so-very covetable way. And how gorgeous is this bag?

I wish I had found this earlier - Porcupine And Peanut Necklace by Boudoir. Not that I necessarily have the money for it, but wouldn’t it have been the cutest thing for St. Patrick’s Day? It takes quite an imagination to put together squirrels, peanuts, porcupines, and four leaf clovers on a necklace, and actually make it work.

I found this necklace on a search for Boudoir by Disaya’s jewelry, which I have been fawning over for awhile. It’s all teddy bears and caged birds and other images of nostalgia from out of a vintage children’s book or something.

I’ve been fancying fruit pendants since I spotted the Marc Jacobs bauble watches in a magazine. These won’t tell you the time, but they are cute and sparkly, and that’s enough for me.

Pave Watermelon from Girlprops. This one is my favorite!

Ugh. Love these! Cute AND practical products from mmmg. This Ping Pong Calendar has to be the cheeriest-looking calendar I’ve ever seen. Almost makes you happy to come into the office and see that sitting on your desk. And it’s reusable.

I hate doing finances, but with their Pink Bank? It’s almost like a hand-holder, with its easy-on-the-eyes pink and friendly layout telling you that doing taxes aren’t that bad. Which reminds me, Tax Day is already next month…

Then they have Label keychains to remind you daily how “lucky” you are, or that you truly are, my personal favorite, a “real creator”. Thank you, I needed to hear that. Please relay that message to my parents, who still don’t quite understand what I do as a graphic designer.

This is too much.
Found via Cut + Paste, who is currently selling a few of mmmg’s products. The rest can be found at the Millimeter/Milligram Online Store.

Noir’s jewelry reminds me of playing dress up as a kid, when you would get those play sets with tiaras and fake princess jewelry. They are so fashionably gaudy and endearingly over the top. While I would try wearing these, I’d probably pair it with something more simple and low-key, like dark grey jeans and a lacy white tank. You know, something not quite out of a fairy tale.

I love clothes and accessories with crocheted or embroidered details, even more than I like actually crocheting and embroidering things myself. These pieces are so perfect for hanging out on a summer weekend. It was over 80 today, so summer is clearly not too far away.

Piazza Tank and Nectar Halter Dress, both from Anthropologie.

Forever 21 Crochet Tunic and Crochet Dress

Count on Free People for their creative and charming handcrafted details, like on this laptop case. And how cute is this Needlepoint Ring from Anthropologie?
