Terramia is doing my homework for me! Check out one of her latest posts, The Very Pink of Perfection, full of major interior design eye candy. Pink in living spaces is usually a bit much (even for me), but these are all sorts of lovely.
I’ve always loved this couch from Ruthie Sommer’s home, ever since it appeared on the cover of one of Domino’s first issues:

For good measure, I’ll throw in images from one of my favorite interior design inspirations, Designer’s Guild, in a showstopping hot pink & chartreuse palette:

Element Labs was one of my new discoveries at the CA Boom show in Santa Monica this past weekend. You might recognize their cool and colorful LED panels from music videos like Coldplay’s “Speed of Sound” and staged events like the Grammy’s. I’m thinking about how cool it would be to have a section of your house that looks like this:

I am not really a vase person. I don’t care what they look like, any clear glass one will do. At least until I’ve been seeing some really cool ones around lately. Like this expandable flower vase from Plastica. Do I know how it works? Not at all. But it sounds cool, right?

This one looks like a sea urchin in bubblegum pink - the Squeezy Head Vase

There’s something about Lovelylovely’s tablewares that’s slightly sinister with a smile. It’s all lace and doilies and ribbons, but completely far from prissy. You know that girl has no problems smashing you over the head with one of her pretty plates if you don’t act right.

Another April 2007 Elle Decor mention is the Schiaparelli Suite at the Mayfair Hotel in London. It is all opulence and luxe in its hot pink glory. Which sounds really cheesy on paper, but from this picture, it looks anything but.

Caught an advertisement for Yves Delorme’s luxury bed linens in the April 2007 Elle Decor. The collections look completely luxe and elegant, but the spring pastel colors and patterns give it a whimsical touch. My favorite is the Halmahera collection, with green cockatoos and a turquiose feathered pattern.
