I am seriously in love with this magazine! Caught a glimpse of the latest Lula issue on the website, and it looks stunning. They really know how to capture the imagination with their photography and styling:

I love the vintage 60s styling of Princesse Tam-Tam’s current swimwear collection:

I have yet to find a pal with an interest in film photography to shoot with, or at least swap photos with! (Any takers?)

So I loved finding out that the pretty polaroids from Pictures & Co. were shot by French duo and friends Julie and Roxane:

Those Versace resort pieces also remind me of the artistically shot photographs of smoke found on the Artsmoke community. Like this darling shot:

I just got the new Free People catalog in the mail, and it’s gorgeous!! So many vibrant and colorful Asian-inspired prints and patterns. Their catalog is always so well-designed and full of pretty clothes, but I think this one is my favorite yet.

I used to love staring out the car window whenever we’d go on road trips with my family. So I naturally have this nostalgic affection for Tracks, one of the unique collections of photographs by Imelda Picherit. Such an amazing amount of abstract movement and hidden details from shooting train tracks.

Girl in pretty dresses taking pictures - analog, of course - of carousels and city scenes? Sounds like my kind of day. Which couldn’t have been captured more perfectly than by photographer Luca Nicolao for Oyster Magazine.

If you’re in L.A. this weekend, the Brewery in downtown will be having their twice annual ArtWalk. Artist studios will be open to the public for us to check out their work, like these vintage discoveries from thefoundphoto:

I love artists who are not only afraid of color, but use it to create so much dynamic in a composition - like these shots from photographer David Byun. I especially love the “Alice in Wonderland”-like quality of the first set.

This woman is like my idol! She is the reason I got into music videos; her work is true artistry in motion. In addition to directing videos for artists like Marilyn Manson and the White Stripes, she also shoots frighteningly beautiful photographs. (Love how this post is in direct contrast to the last two. Or not, depending on how you feel.)

More toy portraiture at junkoseven (including Blythe!) that manages to endearingly capture each subject’s personality.

I wish I was Blythe. Every time I see her, she has on the cutest clothes. Some people think she’s creepy-looking, but you cannot deny the talent of her legion of stylists, who knit her sweaters, sew her dresses, and take her pictures. Who would not want that?
